Summer is almost over with Autumn just around the corner. As the kiddos head back to school this month, September is a wonderful time to spend outdoors and indulge in an unforgettable afternoon, where every bite is crafted with love and the finest ingredients. Our delectable, tiered tea service features house made tea sandwiches, flaky savories, melt in your mouth scones, and an irresistible selection of desserts. Hispanic Heritage Tea
Marlene’s Tea & Cakes is having a Hispanic Heritage Tea Special Tea this September. Cost is $58.00 per person (does not include tax and gratuity). Join us in celebrating these days with love, laughter and indulge in our unique and delicious menu

NOTE: This special afternoon tea {Hispanic Heritage High Tea Menu} is only available on September 28, 2025. All other days in September will have the regular monthly menu.

Here is a list of our upcoming special Afternoon Tea events for 2025:

• Sun September 28: Hispanic Heritage Tea
• Sat October 18: Philippine Merienda Tea (Filipino American History)
• Sun October 26: Witch & Glamorous Champagne Tea

Tea To-Go is available on Saturdays and Sundays with pickup time at 11:00 am. The cost per person is $38 plus tax. Each tea to go includes three tea sandwiches, our Caramelized Red Onion Confit Quiche, the scone of the month with clotted cream, four desserts, and your choice of tea (makes 1 pot). The menu is the same as the monthly menu without the soup, Beef Wellington, and fruit assortment.

You may purchase additional scones and menu items for a nominal fee. For $6.95 you can choose any three savory items from our monthly menu. You may substitute an item for the Beef Wellington for an additional $1.25 per piece. To place an order, please use our online reservation system, email, and/or call us at 858.756.4320.

Scones-2-Go are also available for takeout on Saturdays and Sundays with pickup time at 11:00 am. The scone of the month is only available at this time.
